Liberals Stunned After Dreamer Praises Trump While Bashing Nutcase Pelosi

When President Donald Trump announced an end to the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, he gave Congress a deadline of March 5 to devise a legislative fix to the DACA program that would allow the recipients to legally remain in the country.

Predictably, the program became a bargaining chip for Democrats, who even forced a temporary government shutdown in an ill-advised and unsuccessful bid to attach DACA legislation to a wholly unrelated short-term funding bill.

But according to America News Central, at least one DACA recipient “dreamer” who was brought into the country illegally from Mexico by his mother at age 1 has shocked liberals by rejecting Democrat tactics on the issue and giving praise to Trump for his efforts at reaching a solution.

That “dreamer” is named Hilario Yanez, and he broke the stereotypical mold during an interview Saturday morning on “Fox & Friends” (he bashes House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer about the 50-second mark):

“Here’s a guy who wants to provide a pathway to citizenship for myself and really make a difference in my life,” said Yanez of the president, and added that he was tired of being used as a “pawn” in the political games played by Democrats.

“Also, I believe we need to have border security so this doesn’t happen again,” stated Yanez, according to The Daily Caller. “And if a wall is necessary to provide another layer for border security to do their job in a safe and responsible manner, then, you know, I think it’s necessary to fund it.”

“The diversity lottery — I think it’s outdated,” he continued. “I think it’s time for people who want to come to the United States to focus on skills so they can contribute to the American economy.”

As for the Democrats, they have left Yanez feeling “frustrated” by their intransigence toward working with Trump and Republicans on finding an acceptable compromise solution to the problems of DACA, illegal immigration and border security.

Do you agree with the position staked out by this Trump-supporting DACA recipient?

“The Democratic leadership, Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer, really have no clear message,” Yanez said. “We have been confused. I think at the end of the day, they have been using us as pawns.

“We should have never shut down the government over DACA. We should have never held our American people and our military hostage,” he said, nothing that when Democrats controlled all parts of the executive and legislative branches of government from 2009-2011, they did nothing to address what they now call a top priority that needs immediate action.

Liberals assume that all DACA recipients are on their side and want open borders with citizenship for all, and don’t mind being used as bargaining chips in the process to attain that goal.

But this dreamer has looked at the situation with open eyes and found the Democrat position to be lacking — both in terms of a clear message as well as a spirit of cooperation in addressing the problem of young adults brought illegally into the country as children.

The best part is that in addition to calling out Democrats for using illegal immigrants and DACA recipients as “pawns” in their political games, Yanez also praised the president for his “leadership and compassion” in regard to the issue.

You know that just burns up Democrats like Pelosi and Schumer, as it completely undercuts the narrative they and their allies in the liberal media have been pressing for so long.
